Adrienne Tucker Announces Temporary Leave of Absence; Dulce Gomez to Serve as Acting President
Statement from Adrienne Tucker, President, Mobility Pathfinders
On March 27 of this year, my husband and I were notified of a profound and tragic loss within our family, an event that has deeply affected not only our immediate family, but our extended family as well. The weight of this loss is significant, and as we continue to navigate the emotional, legal, and financial complexities that follow, it has become clear that I must take time to focus fully on my family.
After careful consideration, I have made the decision to take a leave of absence from my role as President of Mobility Pathfinders. This was not an easy decision. Mobility Pathfinders was founded just over a year ago with a clear and meaningful purpose, and I remain deeply committed to its mission, its vision, and the important work being carried out every day.
During this period, I will be stepping back from active leadership responsibilities and Dulce Gomez will carry out the President role during my absence, which will allow the organization’s ongoing initiatives and operations to continue without interruption. I have full confidence in the strength of our team and in their ability to carry our work forward with integrity, purpose, and dedication.
This time away is necessary for me to be present with my family and to begin the process of healing. I am grateful for the understanding, compassion, and support that has already been extended to me, and I ask for continued grace as we move through this incredibly difficult time.
I fully intend to return to my role as President on August 1 of this year and to re-engage in the work of Mobility Pathfinders with renewed focus and commitment.
Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of Mobility Pathfinders and its mission.
