What is something you learned about being a Mobility Pathfinder that you did not expect?
I did not expect to build relationships and feel comfortable with a group of people so instantly. These are some of the most knowledgeable, funny, and welcoming people you will ever meet. While at the first annual P.R.O.M. this past June, it was really comforting to already know so many others in attendance. I never expected to create such great connections with so many incredible women and be able to hear a name and actually know who that person is.
When you are not managing parking, what do you love spending time on?
I am quite the homebody, so my hobbies mostly consist of games, books, and watching tv. I do have a little cat named Leia that I spend a lot of my time with! My best friend and I like to travel once a year or so to see concerts or celebrate birthdays.
What upcoming industry changes are you feeling most energized about?
At this point in my career, I am not super up to speed with what is changing in the industry as a whole. My favorite thing to do at IPMI is to walk around the expo hall and see all the cool and innovative programs and contraptions people are working on! I cannot wait to see how the parking and transportation industry changes as a whole as technology becomes more advanced.
What is a recent moment, big or small, that has made you smile?
Towards the end of June, my best friend and I went down to Dallas for a concert. While there, we went to Medieval Times and explored some really cute local shops and restaurants. We stumbled upon a place where you can take photo booth pictures. There were props and different backgrounds to pick from, and the whole experience was self-serve. We were the only two in there and it was so much fun!
What is something people are most surprised to learn about you?
I love collecting things. The bookshelf in my living room has a little bit of everything I collect, so anyone looking at it will know everything about me. My collections include things like snow globes, vinyl records, Legos, and of course books.
